Coffee on the Queen Mary..one of my bucket list items. We had a leisurly drive from Long Beach starting up HWY 1 through Santa Monica and Malibu. We took a back road and HWY 150 discovering a lake named Casitas. We had neither heard nor seen it before. We saw a huge amount of wild and cultivated avacado trees too. We checked in to our hotel La Serena in Morro Bay and then went to eat with Jan's brother Ron and his wife Lorelei. We had some great Mexican food then back to the hotel for a cup of tean and bed. We will do a little shopping and site seeing here tomorrow and then it is off to the Monterrey bay area for a couple of days. Stay tuned it should be getting pretty interesting as we search for our old homes!
